OMFG!!

Holy crap, what I have failed to mention is that I am officially 2 sizes smaller! On friday I took a half day and went shopping. I have bought new jeans and new black trousers that are 2 sizes smaller than when I started. Oh rapture oh joy. I feel very proud. They are tight (not too tight) but when I put on jeans one size bigger today (from my rapidly expanding stock of large things) they felt like pantaloons - swaying in the breeze. I almost can't beleive it as I feel physically (shape wise) no different to when I started, but the trousers tell a different story.

This is important (yes we know I hear you cry) - and I'm going to tell you why.

When I started this I believed I was a particular size (sizes omitted as part of the witness protection scheme!) - but had a few clothes in a bigger size. In reality I was actually the bigger size but refused to admit it. I have been hovering around these 2 sizes for the last few years and have never gone backwards when buying stuff, always upwards!

The purchase of these particular trousers is the first time I have bought a size that is smaller than the size I have normally been. Ever. Seems a little crazy. But it's true.

I also managed to try some stuff on in M&S - didn't quite fit and didn't end up buying it as it was only because I got it on that I wanted to buy it! But maybe soon.
