faulty wiring

one of the tastiest things I ate last week was this lunch. Most importantly the 2nd box to the left, a box of raw carrot and pepper.

I was crunchy, tasty, sweet and tangy. Nom Nom Nom.

So why I ask you, when such delicacies are not ready prepared and sat in front of me in a cute box with a panda on it do I seem to want to eat anything but these lovely veggies?

It's like everytime I eat fruit and salad I really like it. Then a little switch goes in my head and wipes these memories and replaces them with memories of cake, crisps, biscuits and lard.

I just don't get it?!?!?!

Am I conditioned to only think of bad things as good? Why do I look negatively at healthy food?

I have this problem. A really crisp Granny Smiths is perfect while I'm eating it but later I only think of chocolate. Carrot sticks with houmous (sp?) are yum but crisps are better to my brain. I think it's called 'human nature'.

Many of my patients have this issue and they soon find out that it is just from years of eating bad foods. Give it time, and you will soon forget those psychological temptations. Keep up the great work with your articles and please stop by my health blog sometime. The web address is http://healthy-nutrition-facts.blogspot.com/.
